This makes me really sad. John Edwards should have been our next president. It is unfortunate that a white man with such amazing ideas and values has to go up against the first woman and black man running for president. People are focused on having a "first" instead of what the candidates really stand for and believe in.
Too bad. I hope that he keeps trying in the future. We really need a leader who is against corporate greed and corruption, and puts the people first.
Tis a sad day for America.
At least now he can spend more time with his family while his wife is fighting cancer.
