We have a bit of a site update that we just posted. We fixed a lot of layout issues with internet explorer that were plaguing the new pages as well as fixed a lot of bugs that people were hitting with some of the new functionality.

We also reorganized the header a bit and added back dropdowns for Publish and Explore. There is a search box up there now that will search your radius ( you can change it after that on explorer page). The FrontPage is a bit different now with less content in each box, a bigger Newer Posts section and a smaller around the web. The slideshow is shrunk a bit and the Tipline is up there front and center.

There is also a link in the header to a page that details the SMS/Texting functionality.

Look for more updates coming soon. We are working on saving your radius, adding a Global/Local tab, having voting on the newest posts on front page (like tipline/around the web) as well as fixing a lot of bugs and points of confusion. Thanks for all the feedback and please - help us test out the site by posting and messing around as much as you can! Once we get this release all smoothed out, we are going to really try to bring in more Portlanders and people from all around the USA and the world. You p2 faithful can really help shape the community and tool this site becomes - without your posts,discussio  n, character, and feedback, we would be nowhere.
