New japanese eatery in the old Mr. Moto spot. Quite a different menu and approach than Moto. From website: In Japan there are little restaurants serving simple delicious foods to go with sake and beer. Often they are called “akachochin” after the identifying red lantern hanging outside or “izakaya”- a place where there is sake.

I am in the process of getting my license to serve beer, sake and wine but in the meantime there are still wonderful dishes from sake no sakana (food that goes with sake) to fresh delicious noodles and yoshoku (Japanese foods that created under the influence of the European traders that traveled to Japan).

I use the freshest ingredients and when possible use organic, local and sustainable products including Cascade Natural Beef, Carlton Farms Pork and Draper Chicken.

You’ll find our menu is varied and has a little something for just about anyone. If something doesn’t meet your needs I’ll see what I can do- please be patient though- I may not be able to handle all requests as I am in the opening phase and have priced to reflect that.

Eventually we’ll be opening later hours and more days… in the meantime if you need a party catered to for home and office on a day we are closed I can come in and prepare fresh, tasty food for you to pickup-just ask!
