Decarli is located in an historic building in old downtown Beaverton. The Italian eatery opened in January. In a word, its GREAT! The menu is relatively small, but sophisticated. Try the espresso braised short ribs! They also have fairly extensive wine list, and a desert menu you will want to save room for. The creme brulee is the best!! The waitstaff is effecient, friendly and very attentive to your needs.

The owners are Paul and Jana Decarli. Jana runs the front of the house. She earned her chops during six years on the floor at Bluehour in the Pearl. Paul Decarli is the executive chef. He was sous-chef at Fratelli Ristorante and Tuscany Grill, later becoming Tuscany Grill's executive chef.

All in all this is a great restaurant. The owners say business is steadily growing. Here's hoping the growth continues and that Decarli's is around for a long time to come.
