I haven't been to the derby yet (as I'm still new to PDX) but I intend to go and watch it this year. It looks like so much fun!
My favorite soapbox car from last year (after looking at the videos and photos of the race) was PC Load Letter: a nearly full-scale cubicle complete with a desk, office chair, computer, phone, drinking fountain, coffee maker, motivational posters, calendar, plastic plant and memos. (Such a great tribute to Office Space!)
I can't wait to see what people make this year!
