The first thing you'll notice about Hollywood... it's filthy! The sidewalks are almost black from bubblegum and general... vagrant usage. The souvenir shops are all old and filled with the kind of knickknacks that would make even the kitchiest hipster shudder. You're almost guaranteed never to see a movie star unless you push your way to the front of the crowd at one of the many traffic halting galas, premieres, or back patting award shows on the blvd.
