Summary

Formerly the site of Tanasbourne Mall which opened in 1975. The mall covered quite an large area of 152,000 square feet of all sorts of stuff! It took the owners "Standard Insurance" only a year to build the mall breaking ground on it back in 1974. The completed cost of this mall was a mere $6 million. "In 1990 a new outdoor shopping center was opened across the street from the indoor mall. This lead to many of the existing tenants such as anchors Safeway and PayLess Drug (now Rite Aid) to the newer shopping center. By 1995 the building was torn down and replaced with an outdoor shopping center."
